Although I have to say, I have very little confidence in our legal system to do the right thing. The man never actually acquired the grenades, but was arrested trying to... Great, some piss-ant lawyer will play with that one.
I guess while on the subject of 'what the hell is wrong with people?'... I'm sure you have all heard this one... 4 Dead in Chicago office building. In this day and age, I get nervous every time my girl walks out the door. It's a sick world. Even sicker is the fact that in this country we cater to the minority. Don't get racial on me, that's not where I was going. I simply mean the few, the complainers, the ones who ruin it for the masses. I've said it many times, but it rings more true everyday...The silent majority is getting sick of it.
The other day, a bum said he was going to kill me and my dogs. That was a fun one. I ran in the house to get a bat, when I couldn't find one, I went down Ventura with a monkey wrench. No bum threatens me! In my anger I was going to try and 'send' a message. But is there any getting through. Some people, just need a beating.

A new voice in Movie Reviews
After going to see the movie 'Babel', I felt compelled to write a movie review.
The movie itself did not move me, but rather the scores of praise that it received. Great reviews, everyone and their mother gave it love. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett... It must be good, right? Wrong!
I have watched quite a few movies in my day, probably too many, and to give a quick idea of how I feel about this one... It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Seriously. The title says it best... Babel: a confused noise, typically that made by a number of voices. Which is exactly what it was, a confused noise.
During the movie I had asked my fiance on more than one occasion to give me the time. My thinking was that maybe we could sneak out and catch the beginning of something starting later. I missed the mark by about 15 minutes and was forced to sit through 2 1/2 hours of what only could be described as a waking coma.
In watching the previews, Bradd Pitt seems like the main character, as you are taken into a Middle Eastern world where his wife gets shot. Sounds like something that would be engaging. In 2 1/2 hours, I think Brad Pitt was on the screen for about 8 minutes. Cate Blanchett's extent... she was bitchy in the beginning, (for about 2 minutes) gets shot, and pees in a bucket. Of course Pitt's and Blanchett's preformances were great, but very much under utilized. The story line followed too many paths, and spent far too much time on characters that none of us were there to see, or spend my money on.
The story follows 4 families. A Morrocan family, who purchased a gun for 500 bucks and a goat; A Japanese deaf-mute girl whose mother had committed suicide, Brad & Cate in Morroco, and then the Illegal Immigrant 'nanny' who is watching their 2 kids back in the states.
The most compelling of the stories is of course Brad's... while on a tour bus, his wife is shot, and... The family that bought the rifle for a goat, while out tending to the goats, the youngest son ends up shooting at Brad's tour bus. We know what happens there.
Later in the film, after going through a very long and drawn out story of the Japanese deaf girl, we find out that her father had given the gun to a Morrocan man, while on a hunting trip, as a gift.
Poor Brad's wife has been shot, and the immigrant back in the states has to go to her son's wedding back in Mexico. Not being able to find anyone to watch Brad's kids, she decides to take them with her to the land of the tortilla. One thing leads to another, and while coming back to the States, her nephew, who is driving, decides to adios the Border Guards and make a run for it. After losing the cops, he ditches his aunt, the 'nanny' and Brad's kids in the middle of the desert.
I know, sounds a bit 'all over the place'...imagine watching it for, once again, 2 1/2 hours.
If the story, or movie had stayed on Pitt's story, and the family in Morroco, they would have had something. However the drawn out stories of the other's who were very losely involved, left me, as a viewer, constantly waiting for something that never came. Well, except for my coma.

If you absolutely have to waste that 20 bucks that is burning a whole in your pocket, and you have exhausted all other movie possibilities, and that includes G rated flicks... Then, be my guest. Bring some no-doze, and possibly a book and a flashlight.
For single men... DO NOT BRING A DATE! She will probably just want to go home and go to bed... and your 'gift of gab' is not good enough to wake her from the coma.

O.J. Update
I guess I wasn't the only one who thought the book deal was a bad idea...Interview & book deal canceled. Poor O.J. claims that the only reason he made the deal was to care for his children, that I may note, he left 'Motherless', and that the deal which has been reported to have gained him an additional $3.5 million, wasn't his idea. "It helped me get out of debt and secure my homestead."
What most people don't know is that part of the $33.5 million civil judgment, which he has not paid, O.J.'s NFL pension and his Florida home were not to be touched. O.J.'s NFL pension is worth $4 million. Poor, poor O.J.
Since the cancellation of his book, copies which have already been printed are up for bid on ebay... however ebay has not been fast enough pulling the copies from the auction site.
$29,000 and still 8 days left, and there are reports as stated in the article above, that copies have sold for a million.
Must be tough these days living on a $4 million pension and property valued in the millions.
In doing some searching on the actual trial, a look back, the amount of evidence against him was astounding. Marcia Clark is one good prosecutor. Here is a quick list of the evidence... just to give you an idea of how bad, and I mean BAD she must be. Is it possible she even took a bar exam? Here's the list...
* DNA analysis of the blood found in, on, and near Simpson�s Bronco revealed traces of Simpson�s, Nicole�s, and Robert Goldman�s blood.
* DNA analysis of bloody socks found in Simpson bedroom were proven to be Nicole�s blood.
* Simpson�s hair was found on Goldman�s shirt even though Simpson claims to have not been at he home and to never have met Goldman.
* DNA analysis of blood on the gloves was proven to be a mixture of Simpson�s Nicole�s, and Ronald Goldman�s. The gloves also contains particles of Goldman�s hair and carpet fibers from Simpson�s Bronco.
* Officers find arrest records indicating that Simpson was charged with the beating of his wife Nicole. Photos of Nicole�s bruised and battered face emerge. Simpson was sentenced with 3 years of community service for this crime.
* Police discover the dome light in the Bronco has been removed. A search of the vehicle reveals the light was carefully placed under the passenger seat and was in good working condition. Puzzling blood smears on the passenger floorboard indicate that Simpson may have purposely removed the light and placed it under the seat before the murders. Then after the murders he may have unsuccessfully tried to find it to put it back in the socket. Police on stakeouts routinely remove the dome lights from their vehicles to avoid detection when the car doors are opened.
* It was discovered that Nicole has one set of keys to her home missing. She had indicate to several family members and friends that she feared Simpson had stolen them to gain entry into her home. The keys were later found in Simpson�s home.
* Paula Barbieri indicated that she had broken up with Simpson the day of the murders. She indicated he seemed very disturbed at the news. Phone records proved that Simpson attempted to contact her shortly before the murders from his Bronco�s cellular phone.
* The left-hand glove found at Nicole�s home and the right-hand glove found at OJ�s home proved to be a match. They also proven to be Simpson�s size. Even though Simpson claimed under oath that he did not own a pair of Aris Isotoner gloves, several media pictures emerged showing Simpson wearing these exact gloves.
* The bloody footprints are quite easily identified as being made from a pair of Bruno Magli shoes. These shoes are quite expensive and extremely rare. The size 12 prints match Simpson�s shoe size. Simpson claims under oath that he does not own any such shoes and in fact indicates that he thinks they �are ugly�. A photograph is introduced showing Simpson wearing the exact shoes at a NFL football game. Simpson claims under oath that the photo is a forgery and is backed up by an expert witness. Later, another photo taken by a different source, also shoes Simpson wearing the same shoes at another NFL football game.

Enough Already
I know I have been quiet for awhile... mainly due to the fact that the stupidity of the world and the state in which we live is leaving me speechless. In reading my daily news, I came across this one...O.J. Simpson to discuss killings...I couldn't shut up anymore.
The fact that in this day and age we still give this murderous son-of-a-bitch even an ounce of press, in my mind is criminal. Paris Hilton deserves more press than this guy.
In this latest interview, O.J. states that if I had killed them, here is how I would have done it. What a piece of garbage. Shut your mouth. If I was in the press, I wouldn't give him the time. Hell, he was probably paid for this interview as well.
Maybe I should re-title this to, "If I was Nicole Brown's or Ron Goldman's father, here is how I would have killed O.J."
It's because of people like this, that I hope Dante got it right. Let him rot in the 7th circle, where he will forever be plunged into a river of boiling blood.

Border Partrol

Jose Alonso Compean
& Ignacio Ramos.
Both were sentenced to 12 years and 11 years respectively for shooting a drug-smuggling suspect in the ass as he fled from them across the US border. The charges were; causing serious bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, discharge of a firearm in relation to a crime of violence and a civil rights violation. Are you kidding me. Civil rights violation. The man was a drug dealer & not a legal citizen of the United States. He has no civil rights. Ramos, an 8 year vet of the Naval Reserve and nominee for Border Patrol Agent of the year, the previous year shoots a man fleeing with over 800lbs of marijuana in a van...In light of the above article, read this one on the border agents...Border Agents Sentenced to Prison...Osbaldo Aldrete-Davila of Mexico, the scum bag dealer, received full medical treatment and full immunity from you guessed it... The United States of Handouts. Yet another shining example of... THIS SHIT HAS GOT TO STOP. When people decide to break laws aimed specifically at the downfall of another, put law obiding citizens in harms way, or enter into a restricted area without cause or with the intent of wrong doing, YOU LOSE YOUR CIVIL RIGHTS. Yet in this country of suck ass do nothing hands in pocket shit eating pie faced aclu card carrying judges, these guys get immunity. Bullshit.
Ramos and Compean at the most extreme should receive a slap on the wrist, a suspension if even that, just to save the Governmental two face. 12 years in prison is insane. Pedophiles, rapists, hell OJ Simpson got less. I would rather send the message that if you enter this country with the intent to do wrong, you get shot. Shot in the ass no less. It's not even a life threatening wound. Here's another one... now if these guys can get off clean...NYPD Officers Sued...and our Border guards get slapped with 12 years, there are some serious problems in this countries legal system. (But I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know. At least I hope I'm not) Oh by the way, the ass shot smuggler is also sueing the US Government for $5 million.
Sorry, but I can't say enough about this. I think it's time to pack my shit and move to Australia, at least they seem to have a little common sense.

In this day an age, when the security of not only our nation, but all nations is constantly and consistently threatened, you have to wonder how stupid someone would have to be to spread even a whisper of a bombing or mass killings.
I remember back at my old work, there was a box with wires sticking out of it, and someone jokingly wrote the word, 'Bomb' on it. This of course was after 9-11. A security guard walking by saw the labled box, with the suspicious content and decided that this was cause for alarm. They shut down the whole area, and called state police in to investigate. Of course it was nothing, but I believe the author lost their job. In this day and age, these things are not to be fooled with. Simple.
In 2004 a group was arrested for spreading an internet hoax on the bombings of LA malls. In October 2005, two seperate groups were arrested for spreading hoaxes on 'dirty' bombs. A Mexican smuggler and a couple from China.
Spreading these types of hoaxes is, in my mind, a 'terrorist' threat. Plain and simple.

His other activities include, via his myspace blog, all the times he has masturbated in 2006...The Smoking Gun... That's normal. When Mr. Brahm was arrested and told of the severity of his crime; a possible five years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine... Mr. Pull-n-Pop smirked.
